British Wildlife Festival 2013

It is a pleasure to announce that I have been invited to man the iPod that is amplified through the PA system between bands' sets at the upcoming British Wildlife Festival, which features some of my favourite current UK-based bands. The line-up is slowly being announced, and to date boasts,

amongst it's confirmed acts.

You can keep abreast of further announcements here.

The Crow Versus Crow Radio Show #44

I am very pleased to announce the inclusion of a live session recorded specially for the show by Jack Hayter in this episode, marking the third session of the on-going series. Special thanks to Jack for recording a fine set of three songs, and to Jamie of Audio Antihero for once again making the whole thing happen.

Along with the session, this episode features the usual mix of selections from records that have made my life bearable within the two weeks since #43; records young and old, loud and quiet, live and studio takes, stolen from other radio programmes. Bigtime vibin'.

If you are at all interested in the work of the artists featured in this episode, please support the artists and labels through purchasing their records and attending their shows where possible.

This episode originally aired in a far inferior mono form on 96.7 Phoenix FM (Calderdale) on Sunday 25th November 2012 between 6 and 8pm.

The Crow Versus Crow Radio Show #43

'There's mad potential in anonymity.'

For episode #43 Benbow returns with a selection of records, including new and unreleased tracks from releases on his own Horrible Injury label, to bolster selections from the records I've been listening to over the last couple of weeks between the recording of episodes.
